ततस्तु देवताप्रीत्यै त्रिर्निमज्य जलान्तरे । उत्थाय गात्रं सम्मार्ज्य पिदध्याच्छुद्धवाससी ॥ ४२ ॥
tatastu dēvatāprītyai trirnimajya jalāntarē | utthāya gātraṁ sammārjya pidadhyācchuddhavāsasī || 42 ||
Translation
Then, to please the deity, he should dip three times under the water, rise, dry his body and put on two clean garments.
