Commentary
Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated
He should do for the food offering in that vessel: sprinkling with phaṭ, veiling with the seed huṁ (enclosing it), protection with phaṭ itself, and making it nectar with the dhenu gesture and the seed vaṁ. Then, having consecrated that food offering seven times with the root mantra, he should offer it to the Goddess with the water of the arghya.
