Commentary

Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated

He gives those five mantras beginning "akhaṇḍa" in order, with "akhaṇḍaika…". O you whose form is Kula; O you whose form is undivided, single savour and bliss, who give rise to the bliss of full, foremost love; O supreme nectar, of the nature of the best wine: place, set, here in this substance free spontaneous radiance (svacchanda-sphuraṇā), independent shining forth. "Rasa means quality, passion, liquid", says the Amara lexicon.
