Commentary
Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated
He gives in two verses what is to be done next, "tataḥ…". Now he gives the rule of homa with "sva-dakṣiṇe…". On his right, having made with sand a square, four-cornered, maṇḍala measuring four cubits, and having made with the root mantra its vīkṣaṇa, looking at it, and having struck it with kuśa grass with the astra mantra phaṭ, he should with that same phaṭ make the sprinkling of the maṇḍala. (Covers verses 119 and 120.)
