अग्निप्रज्वालनमन्त्रःThe mantra for kindling the fire

Verse 152

आज्यं गृहीत्वा मतिमान् दक्षनेत्रे हुताशितुः । मन्त्रेणानेन जुहुयात् प्रणवान्तेऽग्नये पदम् ॥ १५२ ॥

ājyaṁ gṛhītvā matimān dakṣanētrē hutāśituḥ | mantrēṇānēna juhuyāt praṇavāntē’gnayē padam || 152 ||

Translation

taking ghee, the wise one should offer it into the right eye of the eater of oblations with this mantra: after the praṇava the word "agnaye",
