Commentary
Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated
After that, having done prāṇāyāma, with the water and flowers of the śrīpātra, the wise practitioner, with the mantra beginning "guhyātiguhya" and ending "maheśvari", having offered into the Goddess's left lotus hand the fruit of the japa in the form of light, should fall on the ground like a stick and bow to the Goddess. (This explanation covers verses 174 to 176.) "You who guard the secret beyond the secret, accept the japa I have done; may success be mine, O Goddess, by your grace, O great Queen."
