Commentary
Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated
First, at the very start, he should take the excellent śuddhi for the āstaraṇa, the base on which the wine is set. Then every Kula practitioner, with a very glad mind, taking his own vessel filled with the supreme nectar, the best wine, and imagining, thinking of, the Kula-Kuṇḍalinī whose form is consciousness, abiding and pervading from the mūlādhāra to the tip of the tongue, uttering the root mantra into her lotus mouth, taking each other's leave, should offer the supreme nectar as an oblation into the mouth of the Kuṇḍalinī. (This explanation covers verses 191 to 193.)
