Commentary

Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated

Then, after that, bringing the arghya vessel purified with phaṭ-kāra, the mantra phaṭ, and setting it on the stand, he should worship there the twelve kalās of the sun with the seeds that are the letters beginning with ka and bha and ending with ṭha and ḍa, with the anusvāra, each with its name-mantra in the dative ending in namaḥ.
