Samāhita: attentive. Having filled the remaining fourth part of the arghya vessel with the water of the special arghya, he should worship in the water of the arghya vessel the sixteen kalās of the moon, each with its name-mantra in the dative ending in namaḥ, joined with the seed of one of the sixteen vowels with the anusvāra.
