Meaning

The fire is to be born from the union of Vāgīśvarī (Sarasvatī) and Vāgīśvara (Brahmā): the commentary reads the fire placed in the yoni-yantra (verse 138) as Śiva's seed in her.

Commentary

Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated

Then the mantrī, the practitioner, having meditated on Vāgīśvarī joined with Vāgīśvara, with Brahmā, whose eyes are like the blue lotus, dark lotus-eyed, and who has bathed after her season, should worship the two, Vāgīśvarī and Brahmā, on that seat, on that seat of fire, with name-mantras beginning with māyā, the seed hrīṁ, and ending in namaḥ. Then, after that, he should duly bring in fire, pure, in a dish or a bronze vessel. Having made the vīkṣaṇa (gazing) of the fire with the root mantra, he should make its invocation with the mantra phaṭ. (Covers verses 131 and 132.)
