Commentary
Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated
"With the word svāhā" connects with what goes before. The wise mantrī should place, give, the water for sipping in the Goddess's mouth with the mantra containing the word svadhā, "hrīṁ śrīṁ krīṁ parameśvari svāhā idam ācamanīyam ādyāyai kālyai svadhā". With the mantra "hrīṁ śrīṁ krīṁ parameśvari svāhā eṣa madhuparka ādyāyai kālyai svadhā" he should place the madhuparka in the Goddess's lotus mouth. Saying "hrīṁ śrīṁ krīṁ parameśvari svāhā idam ācamanīyam ādyāyai kālyai vaṁ svadhā", he should again place water for sipping in the Goddess's mouth.
