Commentary
Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated
Then, after that, taking in both hands the drinking vessel and the śuddhi, meat and the rest, and uttering the root mantra and at its end "idaṁ madyam imāṁ śuddhiṁ cādyāyai kālyai nivedayāmi" ("this wine and this śuddhi I offer to Ādyā Kālī"), the mantrī should offer them to the Goddess in the middle of the yantra.
