Commentary

Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated

Having said "krīm ādye kālike devi parivārādibhiḥ saha", then saying twice "iha āgaccha", then twice again "iha tiṣṭha", then after the word "iha" saying "sannidhehi", then after "iha sanni" saying the word "rudhyasva", he should then say "mama pūjāṁ gṛhāṇa". Joining all the words, the mantra "krīm ādye kālike devi parivārādibhiḥ saha ihāgaccha ihāgaccha iha tiṣṭha iha tiṣṭha iha sannidhehi iha sannirudhyasva mama pūjāṁ gṛhāṇa" is formed ("O Ādyā Kālikā, Goddess, with your retinue, come here, come here; stay here, stay here; be present here; be held here; accept my worship"). Having made the invocation of the Goddess with this mantra in this way, he should establish her life-breaths, perform the prāṇa-pratiṣṭhā. (This explanation covers verses 68 to 70.)
