Four portions on the sides and one in the middle, for the five balis of verses 55 to 60. What the Tantra prescribes here is its own teaching, given as the text presents it; taking up any practice is a matter for one's tradition and teacher.

Commentary
Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated
He gives the rule of offering bali to Baṭuka and the others with "sva-vāma-bhāge…". The wise and steady one should draw on his left an ordinary four-cornered maṇḍala; having worshipped that maṇḍala, he should set there, in the four directions of the maṇḍala and in its middle, food with meat (sāmiṣānna), food with meat and the rest, joined with wine (sudhānvita).
