Commentary
Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated
Having duly established the Goddess's life-breaths in the middle of the yantra with this same mantra of prāṇa-pratiṣṭhā, three times, with the gesture called lelihāna taught by the guru, he should speak with joined palms. The lelihāna gesture, as in the Dakṣiṇāmūrti-saṁhitā: "Make the forefinger, middle and ring fingers even, facing downward; stretch the little finger straight and put it to the ring finger: this lelihāna gesture is declared in the jīva-nyāsa."
