श्रीपात्रस्थापनम्Setting up the śrīpātra

Verse 21

अथात्मयन्त्रयोर्मध्ये मायागर्भं त्रिकोणकम् । वृत्तं षट्कोणमालिख्य चतुरस्रं लिखेद्बहिः ॥ २१ ॥

athātmayantrayōrmadhyē māyāgarbhaṁ trikōṇakam | vṛttaṁ ṣaṭkōṇamālikhya caturasraṁ likhēdbahiḥ || 21 ||

Translation

Then between himself and the yantra he should draw a triangle with māyā inside, a circle, a hexagon, and outside a square.

Then, between himself and the king of yantras, he should draw a triangle with māyā, the seed hrīṁ, in its womb; around it a circle; around that a six-cornered maṇḍala; and outside that again a square, a four-cornered maṇḍala.
