अग्निप्रज्वालनमन्त्रःThe mantra for kindling the fire

Verse 150

वज्राद्यस्त्राणि सम्पूज्य प्रादेशपरिमाणकम् । कुशपत्रद्वयं नीत्वा घृतमध्ये निधापयेत् ॥ १५० ॥

vajrādyastrāṇi sampūjya prādēśaparimāṇakam | kuśapatradvayaṁ nītvā ghṛtamadhyē nidhāpayēt || 150 ||

Translation

Having worshipped their weapons, the thunderbolt and the rest, taking two kuśa blades a span long, he should set them in the middle of the ghee.

Then, having worshipped the weapons of Indra and the others, the thunderbolt and the rest, taking two kuśa blades a prādeśa long, he should set, place, them in the middle of the ghee, on the left and on the right.
