पिताऽपि दीक्षयेत् पुत्रान् भ्राता भ्रातॄन् पतिः स्त्रियम् । मातुलो भागिनेयांश्च नप्तॄन् मातामहोऽपि च ॥ १४६ ॥
pitā’pi dīkṣayēt putrān bhrātā bhrātṝn patiḥ striyam | mātulō bhāginēyāṁśca naptṝn mātāmahō’pi ca || 146 ||
Translation
A father may initiate his sons, a brother his brothers, a husband his wife, a maternal uncle his sister's sons, and a maternal grandfather his grandsons.
