मन्मतासम्मता दीक्षा साधकप्राणघातिनी । पूजाऽपि विफला देवि हुतं भस्मार्पणं यथा । देवता कुपिता तस्य विघ्नस्तस्य पदे पदे ॥ ९३ ॥
manmatāsammatā dīkṣā sādhakaprāṇaghātinī | pūjā’pi viphalā dēvi hutaṁ bhasmārpaṇaṁ yathā | dēvatā kupitā tasya vighnastasya padē padē || 93 ||
Translation
An initiation not approved by my teaching destroys the practitioner's life; worship too is fruitless, O Goddess, like an oblation poured on ashes; the deity is angered, and he meets obstacles at every step.
