जातकर्म्म तथा नामचूडाकरणमेव च । मृतक्रियां पितृश्राद्धं कुर्यादागमसम्मतम् ॥ ८६ ॥
jātakarmma tathā nāmacūḍākaraṇamēva ca | mṛtakriyāṁ pitṛśrāddhaṁ kuryādāgamasammatam || 86 ||

the birth rite, the naming and the tonsure; funeral rites and śrāddha for the ancestors should be done as the Āgama approves;
