यदा तु पुण्यपापानां परीक्षा वेदसम्भवा । न स्थास्यति शिवे शान्ते तदैव प्रवलः कलिः ॥ ४८ ॥
yadā tu puṇyapāpānāṁ parīkṣā vēdasambhavā | na sthāsyati śivē śāntē tadaiva pravalaḥ kaliḥ || 48 ||
Translation
When the testing of merit and sin by the Veda no longer remains, O calm Śivā, then the Kali age is in its strength.
