सृष्टेरादौ त्वमेकाऽऽसीत् तमोरूपमगोचरम् । त्वत्तो जातं जगत् सर्वं परब्रह्मसिसृक्षया ॥ २५ ॥
sṛṣṭērādau tvamēkā’’sīt tamōrūpamagōcaram | tvattō jātaṁ jagat sarvaṁ parabrahmasisṛkṣayā || 25 ||
Translation
Before creation you alone were, in the form of darkness, beyond perception; from you the whole world was born, by the Supreme Brahman's wish to create.
