Meaning
A remarkable claim about method. The path to Ādyā requires neither "a great deal of effort" (prayāsa-bāhulya) nor "pain of the body" (kāya-kleśa), the harsh austerities of fasting, exposure and the like. It is "a practice of ease" (sukha-sādhana). This sets the Tantra against the ascetic paths of its time: liberation does not require torment, and the body is not the enemy.
