Meaning

Four ways of taking part in the hymn: reading it oneself, having it read, hearing it, causing others to hear it. The tradition holds that sacred sound blesses not only the one who utters it but the one who listens and the one who arranges for it to be heard. The hymn is again called "the form of Ādyā Kālī": she is present in it.
