Meaning
A second form of puraścaraṇa, which runs to verse 83. The time is the fourteenth lunar day of the dark half of the month (kṛṣṇa caturdaśī), falling on a Tuesday (kauja, the day of Mars) or a Saturday: days and nights traditionally sacred to Kālī. The worship is done with the five tattvas, the Kaula offerings named in ullāsa 6, and the Goddess is called Jaganmayī, "she who is the world", or pervades it. What the Tantra prescribes here is its own teaching, given as the text presents it; taking up any practice is a matter for one's tradition and teacher.
