Meaning

The goal is stated plainly. The mantra leads, by the Goddess's grace, to brahma-jñāna, knowledge of Brahman, and one who has it is jīvanmukta, "free while living". This is the language of Vedānta. The Mahānirvāṇa Tantra joins Tantric worship to Vedāntic liberation: the worship of Ādyā is a means to the same freedom the Upaniṣads teach.
