Meaning
Kamanīyaguṇārādhyā: she who is to be worshipped for her lovely qualities. Komalāṅgī: she of tender limbs. Kṛśodarī: slender-waisted. Then a run of names on kāraṇa, "the cause", which in Kaula language is a name for wine, the first tattva: Kāraṇāmṛtasantoṣā, she who is pleased by the nectar of kāraṇa; Kāraṇānandasiddhidā, she who gives the attainments that come through the bliss of kāraṇa. Wine is called "the cause" because, consecrated in the rite, it is taken as the cause of the bliss that is the Goddess's nature. What the Tantra prescribes here is its own teaching, given as the text presents it; taking up any practice is a matter for one's tradition and teacher.
