Meaning
The armour proper begins. Each line places a form of the Goddess, with her seed, over a part of the body: Hrīṁ Ādyā over the head, Śrīṁ Kālī over the face, Krīṁ the supreme Śakti over the heart, Parātparā over the throat. Reciting it, one touches or attends to each place in turn; the body is "clothed" in the Goddess's names as in a coat of mail. The three seeds of the opening of the hymn reappear here, now as the armour's first plates.
