Meaning
The vyāpaka-nyāsa, which the commentary names, is a sweep of the mantra over the whole body from head to foot. Then breath control (prāṇāyāma), meditation on the Goddess's form, worship, and japa. That is all the short form requires: purification, nyāsa, breath, meditation, worship, recitation. A practitioner with little time can complete it in a short sitting.

Commentary
Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated
Sarvāṅga-vyāpakam: the nyāsa that pervades the whole body (vyāpaka-nyāsa).
