Meaning
A lovely image of a student absorbed in a teacher's words. The commentary unfolds it: in the sea of the nectar of your speech, my heart, sinking in, has no wish to come up at will; it asks once more, and very soon, for that nectar. One does not drown in this ocean; one simply has no wish to leave it. The verse also justifies the question that follows: having been given so much, the Goddess still asks.

Commentary
Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated
"Tava…" and the rest. In the ocean of the nectar of your words (vāg-amṛtāmbhodhau), that is, in the sea of the nectar of your speech, my mind (mānasam), my heart, sinking in it, does not wish (na īhate) to rise (utthātum) of its own accord (svairam), at will; rather it asks again (bhūyaḥ), once more, very soon (acirāt), at once, for the nectar of your speech. (This explanation covers verses 6 and 7.)
