Meaning

Kiśorī: the young maiden. Kalakaṇṭhā: the commentary, she whose throat utters a deep, sweet sound. Kalanādaninādinī: she who resounds with sweet notes. Then two names on kādambarī, a wine distilled from kadamba flowers: she who delights in drinking it and to whom it is dear. Wine is one of the five tattvas of Kaula worship, and the hymn names it without embarrassment as dear to the Goddess. What the Tantra prescribes here is its own teaching, given as the text presents it; taking up any practice is a matter for one's tradition and teacher.

Commentary

Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated

Kalakaṇṭhā: she whose throat (kaṇṭha) is kala, uttering a deep, sweet sound.
