पुण्यकालनिर्देशःThe holy times

Verse 97

निजजन्मदिनञ्चैव पित्रोर्मरणवासरः । वैधोत्सवदिनञ्चैव पुण्यकालः प्रकीर्त्तितः ॥ ९७ ॥

nijajanmadinañcaiva pitrōrmaraṇavāsaraḥ | vaidhōtsavadinañcaiva puṇyakālaḥ prakīrttitaḥ || 97 ||

Translation

one's own birthday, the day of a parent's death, and the day of a prescribed festival: these are declared holy times.
