शूद्रकर्त्तव्यानिThe duties of the śūdra

Verse 152

श्रीदेव्युवाच । किमिदं भैरवीचक्रं तत्त्वचक्रञ्च कीदृशम् । तत्सर्वं श्रोतुमिच्छामि कृपया वक्तुमर्हसि ॥ १५२ ॥

śrīdēvyuvāca | kimidaṁ bhairavīcakraṁ tattvacakrañca kīdṛśam | tatsarvaṁ śrōtumicchāmi kṛpayā vaktumarhasi || 152 ||

Translation

The Goddess said: What is this Bhairavī-cakra, and what is the Tattva-cakra like? I wish to hear it all; please tell me.

Meaning

Pārvatī asks about the two circles just mentioned, wishing, the commentary says, to hear their rules. Śiva's answer runs to verse 219.

Now, wishing to hear the rules of the Bhairavī-cakra and the Tattva-cakra, Śrī Devī spoke, beginning "kim idam…".
