Verse 173
अतस्तेषां प्रतिनिधौ शेषतत्त्वस्य पार्वति । ध्यानं देव्याः पदाम्भोजे स्वेष्टमन्त्रजपस्तथा ॥ १७३ ॥
atastēṣāṁ pratinidhau śēṣatattvasya pārvati | dhyānaṁ dēvyāḥ padāmbhōjē svēṣṭamantrajapastathā || 173 ||
Translation
Therefore, Pārvatī, in place of the last tattva for them: meditation on the lotus feet of the Goddess, and likewise japa of one's own chosen mantra.

Meaning
The substitute for the fifth tattva: meditation on the Devī's feet and japa of one's own mantra. As the commentary puts it, for those born in Kali, in place of maithuna, the last tattva, meditation on the lotus feet of the Devī is to be done, and japa. The inner union with the Goddess replaces the outer one.

Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated
"Ataḥ…" and the rest. O Pārvatī, for this reason, for those born in the Kali age, in place of the last tattva, maithuna, meditation on the lotus feet of the Devī is to be done, and likewise the japa of one's own chosen mantra.
