Meaning
The Gītā's "yuktāhāra-vihāra" (6.17), measure in food and recreation, applied to the householder. The commentary glosses each word: "svaccha", clean, means free of deceit and the like; "śuci", pure, outwardly and inwardly; "dakṣa", capable, free of sloth; "yukta", energetic. Sexual life in marriage is not renounced but measured.
