Meaning
Pārvatī sums up what she has received: dharma that gives happiness "here and hereafter" (iha-amutra), that grants three of the four aims of life, dharma (right order), artha (wealth) and kāma (desire), that removes obstacles, and that leads to the fourth aim, nirvāṇa, liberation. The Mahānirvāṇa Tantra holds throughout that its way serves both enjoyment and liberation (bhoga and mokṣa) at once; it does not ask the householder to give up the world in order to be free. The text writes "amūtra" for amutra, "in the other world".
