सर्ववर्णाधिकारिताAll classes may take it

Verse 224

ब्राह्मणः क्षत्रियो वैश्यः शूद्रः सामान्य एव च । कुलावधूतसंस्कारे पञ्चानामधिकारिता ॥ २२४ ॥

brāhmaṇaḥ kṣatriyō vaiśyaḥ śūdraḥ sāmānya ēva ca | kulāvadhūtasaṁskārē pañcānāmadhikāritā || 224 ||

Translation

The brāhmaṇa, kṣatriya, vaiśya, śūdra and the common class: all five have the right to the sacrament of the kula avadhūta.

Meaning

All five classes may take renunciation. The older law reserved saṃnyāsa to the brāhmaṇa (or at most to the twice-born); the Tantra opens it to all, as verse 12 promised.
