Meaning

What must not be done in the parents' presence. The commentary glosses "auddhatya" as want of humility, and "tarjana" as scolding servants and the like: even rebuking others before one's parents is a lack of respect. "Paribhāṣaṇa" is harsh or reproachful speech.

Commentary

Hariharānanda Bhāratī’s Sanskrit commentary, translated

Auddhatyam: want of humility. Tarjanam: scolding servants and the like.
