Meaning
The book’s note explains the title: the Goddess has six forms of her own, Nandā, Raktadantikā, Śākambharī, Durgā, Bhīmā and Bhrāmarī, the incarnations she promises in the eleventh chapter of the Saptaśatī. Because this secret describes their forms (mūrti), it is called the Mūrti Rahasya. Nandā is the Goddess born in the house of Nanda, the cowherd.
