स्तोत्रं ममैतत् क्रियते शुम्भदैत्यनिराकृतैः। देवैः समेतैः समरे निशुम्भेन पराजितैः ॥ ८६ ॥
stōtraṁ mamaitat kriyatē śumbhadaityanirākṛtaiḥ | dēvaiḥ samētaiḥ samarē niśumbhēna parājitaiḥ || 86 ||
Translation
This hymn of mine is being performed by the assembled gods, defeated in battle by Nishumbha, to the bestower of auspiciousness, thus not rejected.
