Verse 81
स्तुता सुरैः पूर्वमभीष्टसंश्रया- त्तथा सुरेन्द्रेण दिनेषु सेविता। करोतु सा नः शुभहेतुरीश्वरी शुभानि भद्राण्यभिहन्तु चापदः ॥ ८१ ॥
stutā suraiḥ pūrvamabhīṣṭasaṁśrayā- ttathā surēndrēṇa dinēṣu sēvitā | karōtu sā naḥ śubhahēturīśvarī śubhāni bhadrāṇyabhihantu cāpadaḥ || 81 ||
Translation
Praised formerly by the gods with devotion and likewise served day by day by the king of gods (Indra), may that Supreme Goddess, the cause of auspiciousness, grant us auspicious and prosperous things and destroy our calamities.

Meaning
The gods recall their past devotion to the Goddess and her worship by Indra, invoking her as the source of all auspiciousness to bestow blessings and remove their afflictions, particularly the tyranny of Shumbha and Nishumbha.
