Verse 117–118

देव्युवाच ॥ ११७ ॥ सत्यमुक्तं त्वया नात्र मिथ्या किञ्चित्त्वयोदितम्। त्रैलोक्याधिपतिः शुम्भो निशुम्भश्चापि तादृशः ॥ ११८ ॥

dēvyuvāca || 117 || satyamuktaṁ tvayā nātra mithyā kiñcittvayōditam | trailōkyādhipatiḥ śumbhō niśumbhaścāpi tādṛśaḥ || 118 ||

Translation

The Goddess said: You have spoken the truth; nothing you have said here is false. Shumbha is the lord of the three worlds, and Nishumbha is also such.

Meaning
