Verse 4
तावेव पवनर्द्धिं च चक्रतुर्वह्निकर्म च। ततो देवा विनिर्धूता भ्रष्टराज्याः पराजिताः ॥ ४ ॥
tāvēva pavanarddhiṁ ca cakraturvahnikarma ca | tatō dēvā vinirdhūtā bhraṣṭarājyāḥ parājitāḥ || 4 ||
Translation
They also took over the domain of the Wind God and the functions of the Fire God. Therefore, the gods were driven out, deprived of their kingdoms, and utterly defeated.

Meaning
With control over all elemental forces, the demons have made the gods homeless and powerless. The gods are completely vanquished and exiled from their celestial abodes.
