Verse 6
तयास्माकं वरो दत्तो यथाऽऽपत्सु स्मृताखिलाः। भवतां नाशयिष्यामि तत्क्षणात्परमापदः ॥ ६ ॥
tayāsmākaṁ varō dattō yathā’’patsu smṛtākhilāḥ | bhavatāṁ nāśayiṣyāmi tatkṣaṇātparamāpadaḥ || 6 ||
Translation
'By her, a boon was given to us: "When all of you, remembered by me in calamities, I will destroy your great dangers at that very moment."'

Meaning
The gods collectively recall the exact words of the Goddess's promise. This reaffirms their faith and is the basis of their prayer. They are invoking the terms of the contract she herself set.
