Verse 126

सा त्वं गच्छ मयैवोक्ता पार्श्वं शुम्भनिशुम्भयोः। केशाकर्षणनिर्धूतगौरवा मा गमिष्यसि ॥ १२६ ॥

sā tvaṁ gaccha mayaivōktā pārśvaṁ śumbhaniśumbhayōḥ | kēśākarṣaṇanirdhūtagauravā mā gamiṣyasi || 126 ||

Translation

Go, as I have told you, to the side of Shumbha and Nishumbha, lest you be dragged by the hair with your pride shaken off.

Meaning

Sugriva, insulted by Ambika’s challenge, orders her to submit to Shumbha and Nishumbha, threatening that refusal will lead to her humiliation by being dragged by the hair, highlighting his arrogance and ignorance of her divine strength.
