Verse 104
स तत्र गत्वा यत्रास्ते शैलोद्देशेऽतिशोभने। सा देवी तां ततः प्राह श्लक्ष्णं मधुरया गिरा ॥ १०४ ॥
sa tatra gatvā yatrāstē śailōddēśē’tiśōbhanē | sā dēvī tāṁ tataḥ prāha ślakṣṇaṁ madhurayā girā || 104 ||
Translation
He (Sugriva), having gone there where the Goddess resides in the extremely beautiful region of the mountain, then spoke to her smoothly with sweet speech.

Sugriva, Shumbha’s messenger, approaches Ambika in the picturesque Himalayan region where she resides. He addresses her with smooth and sweet words, beginning his diplomatic mission as instructed by Shumbha.
