Verse 125

इन्द्राद्याः सकला देवास्तस्थुर्येषां न संयुगे। शुम्भादीनां कथं तेषां स्त्री प्रयास्यसि सम्मुखम् ॥ १२५ ॥

indrādyāḥ sakalā dēvāstasthuryēṣāṁ na saṁyugē | śumbhādīnāṁ kathaṁ tēṣāṁ strī prayāsyasi sammukham || 125 ||

Translation

All the gods of Indra, whose might could not stand in battle, how will you, a woman, go face to face with Shumbha and others?

Meaning

Sugriva continues his mocking response, noting that even Indra’s gods could not withstand Shumbha and his forces in battle, questioning how a woman like Ambika could dare to face them, further underestimating her divine power.
