Verse 3
तावेव सूर्यतां तद्वदधिकारं तथैन्दवम्। कौबेरमथ याम्यं च चक्राते वरुणस्य च ॥ ३ ॥
tāvēva sūryatāṁ tadvadadhikāraṁ tathaindavam | kaubēramatha yāmyaṁ ca cakrātē varuṇasya ca || 3 ||
Translation
Indeed, those two took over the position of the Sun God, and likewise the office of the Moon God. Then they took over the wealth of Kubera, the domain of Yama, and that of Varuna.

Meaning
The demons' conquest is total. They don't just rule the earth; they have deposed the cosmic regulators themselves—the Sun, Moon, Death, Water, and Wealth. This signifies a complete disruption of the cosmic order (dharma).
