Verse 85
साब्रवीत्तान् सुरान् सुभ्रूर्भवद्भिः स्तूयतेऽत्र का। शरीरकोशतश्चास्याः समुद्भूताब्रवीच्छिवा ॥ ८५ ॥
sābravīttān surān subhrūrbhavadbhiḥ stūyatē’tra kā | śarīrakōśataścāsyāḥ samudbhūtābravīcchivā || 85 ||
Translation
She auspiciously said to the gods: 'Who is this Goddess being praised by you all? And from the sheath of her body, I have emerged by her will.'

Meaning
Parvati, bathing in the Ganges, responds to the gods’ hymn (Devīstuti) by questioning who they are praising. She reveals that she, as Ambika, has emerged from the physical form (sheath) of Parvati by the Goddess’s own divine will, indicating her manifestation as a distinct divine entity to answer the gods’ prayers.
