Verse 13
अतिसौम्यातिरौद्रायै नतास्तस्यै नमो नमः। नमो जगत्प्रतिष्ठायै देव्यै कृत्यै नमो नमः ॥ १३ ॥
atisaumyātiraudrāyai natāstasyai namō namaḥ | namō jagatpratiṣṭhāyai dēvyai kṛtyai namō namaḥ || 13 ||
Translation
Bowed down to her who is extremely gentle and extremely fierce, we offer salutations again and again. Salutations to the foundation of the world, to the Goddess, to the Fierce Spirit (Kritya); salutations, salutations.

Meaning
The gods acknowledge the totality of her nature, which encompasses the most extreme opposites: supreme gentleness and supreme ferocity. She is both the stable base of all creation and the terrifying magical force that destroys evil.
